This pregnancy has me baking like a crazy person! I think it’s because we are still locked in the house and it’s an activity that I can do for only 30 minutes at a time. Either way, I’m loving it.
This past weekend, after driving through Starbucks, I decided it was the perfect time to attempt a lemon drizzle cake. I opted for a loaf over a cake for 2 reasons:
- Every cake I’ve ever made has looked like a disaster, whereas loaves tend to look nicer and keep for slightly longer.
- A loaf just looks a little bit healthier than a cake (am I wrong…?)
