Let’s cut the chase -everybody wants to know how to look attractive, and so are you.
Maybe you think you are not pretty enough and you want to look prettier as a woman. Using makeup can do wonders to your face, but you want to make your appearance as natural as possible.
And you don’t even know what shade suits your tone, so why bother with makeup?

It may sound impossible for some to achieve becoming pretty without using a touch of cosmetics on your cheeks or lips, but it’s utterly doable, ladies.
Perhaps you want to achieve an overnight beauty regimen that you’re looking like Audrey Hepburn when you wake up the next morning.
Sad to say, it’s not possible unless you stay in an operating room with doctors and nurses working on your face (and on your body), but we wanted to make our beauty as natural as possible, right?
Well, you may not be looking like Audrey Hepburn, but you will feel you’re Audrey Hepburn if you know what you should be doing. For a start, you can grab my guide on how to do your evening beauty routine.
Here’s how to look attractive without wearing any makeup:
1. Have a positive attitude
Having a positive attitude affects not only your mental health positively, but it can also help you look attractive to the surrounding people.
When you’re in a good mood, you have the desire to take care of yourself.
Having a positive outlook and mind attracts more people to you according to studies.
Besides, girl, no matter how good-looking you are, if you have that vicious attitude, I don’t think people will still like you.
Being a bitch towards other people is one way of ruining your appearance and even if you’re a famous supermodel, if you have that catty personality and degrade other people, then you’re the most hideous person.
Having a positive attitude and mind works well on your outer appearance so if you focus on negative things, it only increases the cortisol levels, which is widely known as our stress hormone.
Stress is inevitable in our life – no matter where you are, there are always stressors. But if you can manage your stress well, show it not only in your actions but as well as in your face through your smile.
2. Get enough sleep
Do you like taking selfies after you woke up and post them on your social media with the hashtag #iwokeuplikethis?
Maybe you’re really confident that you look good you want to brag about it on social media after sleeping the night before.
It is recommended that you get 7-9 hours of sleep every night since the length of your sleep affects your mood the next morning. Having poor sleep makes you irritable when you wake up and you snap easily over a simple trigger.

When you had a sleepless night, it shows not only in your mood but when you look at yourself in the mirror after having a poor night of sleep, you will see a person looking back at you with puffy eyes, dark circles under the eyes, and hanging eyelids.
While sleeping, your skin makes new collagen which keeps our skin from sagging and gives us a youthful look according to dermatologist Dr. Ohara Aivaz.
At 25, our bodies gradually stop producing collagen that our young and nice skin would look dry and papery.
Eventually, we lose that glowing complexion we used to have and wrinkles start to appear.

You don’t have to be a supermodel to look pretty, you only need to work on your confidence and build it.
Confident people (the real ones) are fun to be with and are easy to talk to. However, you shouldn’t mistake confidence for arrogance.
Arrogant people have exaggerated feelings of importance, or what we often say, they have a bloated ego. They act like they are above everyone else and usually talk all the time about themselves and their achievement.
Confident individuals know how to listen and they’re good at it. They know they have a lot to learn from others and they accept it with grace.
Confidence helps you make feel good, and it encourages positive thinking. People want positivity in life and that draws them to you.
4. Stop and avoid bad habits
Do I need to explain this?
Smoking makes you ugly. It makes your lips darker – I’m sorry but not the dark red shade that you wish you had; it is rather bluish or purplish.
Your hair will become thinner. Your skin gets ugly and wrinkled.
Aren’t those reasons enough to quit this kind of bad habit?
Well, I’m not yet done.
You will get yellow teeth from smoking and your nails get brown or yellow too because of the loss of collagen and elastin.
And oh, smoking causes bad breath too.
Do you still want to smoke, girl?
How about using drugs, specifically meth?
Crystal meth or methamphetamine is a party drug colloquially known as ice or glass. It is also known as an ugly drug. Meth damages your teeth because the ingredients of the meth contain ammonia, lead and battery acid.
5. Don’t neglect skincare
Taking care of your skin is not only essential for how to look attractive but it is also good for your whole well-being. Spoiling your skin can lead to the release of feel-good neurotransmitters.
If you’re feeling good about your health and yourself, your face glows and your mood spikes up. What’s more attractive than a happy woman?
So how do you implement skincare to look beautiful every day?
– Use moisturizer every day. Moisturizer minimizes the chances of acquiring skin diseases and problems such as acne breakout. It also treats dry skin, improves skin texture and protects your skin as well from ageing.
Though taking care of your skin doesn’t make you broke, it is still important that you invest a little amount in your skin and your attractiveness. That’s why it is necessary to buy moisturizers that dermatologists recommend.
The following are the moisturizers that dermatologists recommend:
–Use sunscreen not only in the summer season but even when you go outside, as advised by dermatologists, to protect your face and skin from the harmful UV rays which cause skin ageing and wrinkles.
– Exfoliate at least 2-3 times a week. Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells using any substance or a tool to have them replaced with new skin cells. This process is also responsible for the improvement of one’s skin since it improves circulation and allows easier absorption of moisturizers.
And here are tools you need to exfoliate your skin:
- Massage your face using jade roller. Jade roller is a tool which is made of jade or any other stones to massage your face. This has become famous due to social media but its origin dated back to seventh-century in China. Some uses this tool as part of their beauty care regimen to look more attractive -which is not a lie actually. The use of jade rollers like exfoliation improves circulation, relaxes muscles and detoxifies your skin.
You can also use moisturizer and serum like Vitamin C before using the jade roller, and you can even place it in the fridge to add more cooling effect before you massage your face with jade roller.
– Use of silk pillowcases. Silk protects your skin from friction and improves hydration. Not only that, silk pillowcases prevent wrinkles. How to look attractive doesn’t have to be that difficult right? It just a matter of choosing the right pillowcase for your skin.
6. Wear suitable clothes
If having a healthy, flawless, porcelain-like skin is not enough to look attractive, you can make it up in wearing suitable clothes. They don’t have to be designer clothes but they should be at least decent, elegant and classy.
There are designer clothes from renowed brands and designs, but they don’t simply pass the elegant and classy standard. In fact they look even trashy.
To look more beautifuly every day, your clothes should not only presentable but also fresh and not smelling like you’ve worn it twenty times before without washing it.
Your clothes should be comfortable to wear -not to loose and not too tight that you can barely breathe anymore.
You can either wear clothes that emphasize your assets and your curves or wear clothes that don’t reveal everything. And I believe a woman shouldn’t always show everything to grab attention and receive compliments of how she’s looking beautiful.
If you think you’re wear clothes are very plain and you feel like something’s missing, you can add some accessories to make it look more chic. Some accessories you can add are waist belts like this one if you’re wearing a dress that looks rather plain or a bit oversized, blazer that you can put over your shoulders and maybe a fashionable hat depending on the season.

7. Pay attention to your hair
Having a beautiful hair doesn’t only mean attractiveness, it also tells how healthy you are.
And people tend to get attracted to healthy people, who doesn’t by the way?
Hair is one of the first things we notice in a person and we should only invest in that aspect, not only to upgrade your look but for your overall well-being as well.
So how should you improve the status of your hair?
Some say, wash your hair every other day which I follow personally, and depending on the situation.
But I found another article on Healthline, while researching on hair topic, that you should wash your hair only once it is already oily.
How you take care of your hair really depends on the status of your hair, your preferences and of course the situation.
Smiling shows positivity and happiness and smile alone can compensate one’s unattractiveness. Study in 1982 shows that smiling faces are more attractive than non-smiling faces.
So wear your smile like it’s your permanent makeup but unlike permanent makeup, smile doesn’t cost you a lot.
9. Maintain a proper posture
Your posture and the way you carry yourself tell something about you and your personality. If you have a good posture, it also projects your confidence and intelligence.
Having a good posture also attracts people who have the same confidence and success as you have.

10. Maintain your eyebrows and curl your lashes
Some women would rather miss putting on lipstick as long as their eyebrows are well-shaped.
You don’t have to apply brow pencil and draw your eyebrows in an exaggerated manner to make yourself look more beautiful but you can maintain your eyebrows from time to time by plucking them according to the shape of your face and eyes.
And your eyebrows shouldn’t be so thin and not too bushy like Betty La Fea.
Although some women would like to have thicker eyebrows, they still prefer to make them natural instead of applying brow pencil that sometimes, their brows look really dramatically thick and artificial – which I don’t recommend at all.
I have nothing against women though who draw their brows to make them thicker but I would rather have them looking natural – with pencil or not, which is possible by the way.
On a contrary, thin eyebrows don’t sit well with me anymore. Gone are the days where it is common to see girls and women pluck their eyebrows until you only see just a line. Really, not joking.
While I could still see women who have very thin eyebrows, (and I’m talking about women who pluck their eyebrows and make them thinner intentionally), I don’t think that still trendy and just my two cents, it is not attractive.
No can do.
Attractive is if you don’t draw a single line above your eyes. More attractive is if you make your eyebrows as natural as possible.
Now what about your eyelashes?
Yes I know there are easy ways to look more beautiful and just apply those artificial stuff. But they’re not that easy as you think.
Gluing those artificial lashes take time, that’s what I thought. In my whole life, I’ve only used them once or twice and I don’t know if I consider wearing them in the future.
And I still believe the simplier the better – simple is beautiful, so they say.
So instead of using fake eyelashes, you can curl your lashes using a curler like I do almost every day. If you want to make the curling effect long-lasting, you can heat up the curler using your hair dryer.
11. Have a devil-may-care attitude
This is one of my favorites about tips on how to look attractive – it is simply effortless.
A woman who doesn’t care what others think is really attractive and it portrays utter confidence.
Women who have devil-may-care attitude do what they wanted to do and are not afraid to show their true personality which is making them more irresistible and sometimes charming.
Devil-may-care attitude doesn’t mean she’s being mean or bitchy, in other words, she’s just carefree and she wouldn’t spend a day thinking about what you think of her for what she just did.
This type of personality is easygoing and you wouldn’t think about spending a dull moment with this person and that is attractive enough.
The definition of beauty is subjective. What you find attractive can be ugly for some and vice versa.
These tips may not be for everybody and solely based on my opinion which I justify with science and research plus my experiences.
The above-mentioned ways on how to look attractive without using makeup may work for some and I know some would prefer if they’re wearing makeup every day for some reasons and I don’t have objections to that and yeah, to each their own.
